Help us make the application better

Thanks for being an early bird!

BeatShare is still a work in progress, and we’re honestly so excited to have you testing it out. If the app does something weird or if you think of a feature that’s missing, please don't keep it to yourself! Reporting things now helps us fix them before the "stable" version rolls out.

Got feedback? Head over to the feedback page to send it our way — we really appreciate the help!

  • Fresh New Sidebar: We’ve given the sidebar a complete makeover to make the app feel more modern and easier to navigate (#38).
  • New Settings Menu: A brand-new look for the Settings page makes it simpler to manage your preferences (#46).
  • Smarter Notifications: Added "Toast" popups that give you instant confirmation when you complete an action (#78).
  • Better Video Editing: We’ve polished the video editing screen for a cleaner, more intuitive experience (#5).
  • Smooth Transitions: Moving between different pages in the app is now faster and more fluid (#34).
  • Real-time Progress: The progress bar now accurately shows exactly how far along your video rendering is (#32).
  • No More Double Rendering: The app now remembers if a video has already been rendered, saving you time by skipping unnecessary work (#110).
  • New Visual Styles: Fully implemented rendering support for Blurred, Fill, and Solid styles (#20, #21, #112, #24, #108).
  • Native File Browsing: Instead of a generic picker, the app now opens your computer's native File Explorer for a more natural feel (#95).
  • Saved Preferences: Fixed a bug where your chosen colors wouldn't stay saved when editing videos (#23).
  • No More Freezing: Fixed an issue where the app would sometimes "hang" or freeze while applying a blurred style (#53).
  • Text Fixes: Resolved a strange bug where right-clicking in text boxes would sometimes show Chinese characters (#99).
  • Crash Prevention: The app no longer crashes if you close the file window without picking a file (#48).

    • Fixed a bug that occasionally blocked videos from starting the rendering process (#97).

  • General Performance: Performed a massive "under-the-hood" cleanup to make the app more stable and easier for us to update in the future (#104, #26, #39).
